“Bucket List, You gotta do it! Come on, you have to stay on a faux Steamboat out in the middle of the PA countryside at least once! Seriously, wife and I adored this place. Check in at the desk was smooth and the staff very welcoming and friendly, even went the extra distance to offer us available free upgrades (Get an upstairs room with a balcony, its worth it). The restaurant and bar were wonderfully decorated to fit the theme and the food was great. The indoor pool was refreshing, clean and they have quiet hours for adults only. “My boyfriend and I stayed at the Steamboat the end of April and fell in love with it. The rooms were magnificent and we could have stayed at the Tavern all night. All of the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Can’t wait to return!” Kelley M
“My boys and I stayed here for the last stop on a spring break journey. All 3 of us were exhausted and pretty much ready to get home….thank goodness we stopped here before we did! What a cool, unique property. I could tell right upon walking in I had made a good choice in lodging. The whole place is nicely done, clean, and welcoming.
Our room was huge and nicely arranged. There were plenty of outlets for our multiple devices and lots of the extra little details that help separate great hotels from the run of the mills. We ate at the restaurant and were entertained by a very humorous piano player….great touch! This hotel embraces a kid friendly atmosphere, but I wouldn’t hesitate to do a couples getaway here WITHOUT the kids.
